Boy am I SO glad to be able to post these ! After her session, my memory card corrupted and it took 3 days to retrieve them from the card, THEN my hard drive crashed . Took a week in the shop for them to access the hard drive, save image files before re-formatting. I guess these were just NOT meant to be lost!

"Perigee" Full Moon

The biggest and brightest full moon since 1993, The "supermoon" phenomenon occurred because the moon was in its full phase and just 50 minutes past perigee – the point of its orbit that brings it closer to Earth. Of course I had to try and get a few shots! With 15 sessions currently on tap for editing, and more to shoot this week as well as next, middle of the night seems to be the only time I have for photos for myself ! lol

This was the sweetest baby, but I was reminded real quick that there is NOTHING that will let you know exactly what you can or can NOT do better than a 2-3 week old baby ! lol . Our session lasted four hours and we finally got him to doze off, and every time we tried to move him, he woke up .. so .. I did not get the number of images I am used to, however, we still got some precious shots, and I can not wait to see him again at 3 months !

Houston just turned 3 months and is cute as can be ! While he was here, he started doing something"new" with his mouth. We aren't sure if he had just found his tongue or what but it was too cute ! I can't wait to see him again at 6 months. Loving my "First Year" babies !!

Time for Maddox's 9 month session already, and I can't believe his birthday is right around the corner. he is still the HAPPIEST baby I think I have EVER seen and he sure does love Max. It is amazing to watch them play. Max runs all around him and as big and clumsy as he is, he is so sweet and gentle with this baby

Beautiful weather, a beautiful location and an even more beautiful baby made for an awesome session for Phoenix's 9 month portraits ! He was a little tired, and about 3/4 of the way through our session , he took a little "tumble" but was a real trooper and in about 5 minutes was good to go again ! he has some of the cutest, funniest expressions ever!

Miss Abi came to see me yesterday for her first portraits. She is 3 weeks old and very alert, and stayed awake for the better part of her 4 hour session with the exception of a few short "catnaps" She is a DOLL! I found an old metal school desk and wanted to take some "vintage" type pics. well, being that I was rushed for time because Lexy kept reminding me she had to get dressed for "Trick or Treat" These are NOT exactly what I had in mind, no time to get to the location I wanted to use, so we just played around for a few minutes close to home, and will attempt our originally planned "location" next time

Little Miss Priss bounces up the front door steps, holds out her hands, and says " I painted my fingernails AND my toenials, do ya like'em?" Well, after that we had a GREAT 2 hour session. She helped me decide where and how she would sit, when to change her clothes, and when to smile and when not to. She LOVED max, but told me "Oh No ! I'm allergic ... just a little" and even so, insisted on a pic or two with him, and it is too stinkin' cute , and so are those dimples of hers !Mom, I hope she didn't break out too bad!
